Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking an experienced educator to lead nursing education initiatives in our Missouri program. The role emphasizes curriculum development, program evaluation, and collaboration with faculty to advance student outcomes.

The ideal candidate will plan, implement, and evaluate courses and clinical experiences, mentor faculty, coordinate student placements, and ensure standards alignment with ACEN and NH Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Covenant Health mission and values.
• Leads and directs faculty and students in clinical education.
• Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the program curriculum to support outcomes.
• Develops classroom/clinical schedules and ensures student placement.
• Teaches courses and supervises students in clinical settings.
• Uses teaching strategies aligned with learner needs and outcomes.
• Counsels and mentors students; handles disciplinary steps as needed.
• Onboards new faculty and mentors existing faculty.
• Collaborates with clinical sites to develop partnerships and clinical experiences for students.
• Supervises students in clinicals with Epic access as needed.
• Performs other duties consistent with the role.

• Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
• Demonstrates leadership and provides direction for faculty and students.
• Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the program curriculum to support outcomes.
• Develops classroom/clinical schedules each semester and assures placement of student in appropriate clinical settings.
• Teaches courses and supervises students in clinical settings as needed.
• Uses teaching strategies appropriate to learning needs, desired student learner outcomes, content, and context.
• Counsels, supports, tutors, and conducts disciplinary steps for individual or groups of students.
• Orients new faculty and mentors existing faculty
• Collaborates with clinical sites to develop partnerships and clinical experiences for students.
• Epic access in order to supervise students in clinicals.
• Other duties as consistent with this role.

Job Requirements

Job Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in curriculum development and program evaluation preferred
• Experience working with faculty preferred
• Knowledge of ACEN and NH Board of Nursing standards

Education and Experience

• NH RN license or eligibility to obtain an RN license in New Hampshire required
• 3 years of relevant teaching and academic administrative experience preferred
• Approved by the NH Board of Nursing as an AD instructor preferred
• Earned Master’s Degree in Nursing or higher required
• Earned Doctorate in Nursing with strong emphasis in nursing education and academic administration preferred
• Certification in specialty area, nursing education, or administration preferred

$84,523.42 - $116,401.93
