Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented analyst to perform financial Quality of Earnings, due diligence, and Excel-based financial analysis for clients involved in business purchases, sales, or mergers.

You will write reports for clients and their advisors, build detailed analyses and reports, support multiple engagements on time and within budget, and may begin directing small QOE projects at the two-year level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews preferred.
• Working towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant certification.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting engagements or projects.
• Knowledge of financial markets, analysis, and reporting of financial data.
• Understanding of Pfx Engagement, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform accurate financial analysis and original financial statement modeling under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write reports on findings for clients and their advisors.
• Perform detailed financial due diligence.
• Collect and analyze financial data to detect errors in financial reporting.
• Summarize key accounting policies and identify issues that may impact transaction value or client risk.
• Build detailed analyses and reports based on findings for client delivery.
• Support multiple engagements on time and within budget.
• Identify issues and communicate progress and results to supervisors.
• Complete assigned portions of engagements consistently, accurately, and within tight time frames.
• May begin directing small quality of earnings projects at the two-year level.
