Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join the Marketing Technology team (GSSO) in Stamford, CT. You will build AI-powered solutions to accelerate Sales and Marketing productivity, partnering with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to transform prospecting for Gartner's 7,000+ sales associates.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience applying data science and ML techniques.
• Experience with Python, SQL, statistical analysis, and databases.
• Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a strong interest in Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents that synthesize information and automate business workflows.
• Apply NLP and Generative AI techniques to derive actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Design, test, and optimize prompts, retrieval strategies, and agent workflows to improve AI performance and scalability.
• Build recommendation solutions, such as prospect interest prediction and personalized outreach recommendations, to enhance prospecting effectiveness.
• Rapidly prototype AI capabilities, evaluate business impact, and help transition successful pilots into production.
• Partner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and engineers to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Stay current on advancements in machine learning, Generative AI, and agentic systems, bringing new ideas and best practices to the team.
