Job summary

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. in Fort Mill, SC, seeks an Associate Data Recon Analyst to support Advisory Accounting and Data Reconciliation.

You will identify and resolve reconciliation breaks, perform month-end controls, and ensure data flows into downstream systems with rigorous quality checks. The role requires collaboration with Analysts and Senior Analysts, strong Excel and SQL skills, and a finance-focused background.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in financial services with client facing or operations experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own reconciliation breaks within SLA guidelines.
  • Support month-end transactional and performance quality controls.
  • Assist data flow management and quality controls for investment data.
  • Troubleshoot accounting and data issues with Analysts.
  • Analyze abnormalities that affect fee billing calculations.
  • Support process improvement and document department procedures.
  • Assist problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Track progress toward team goals and validate performance returns.

This role works closely with both Analysts and Senior Analysts to document and maintain department processes and procedures.Responsibilities:Owning accountability to fulfill and complete reconciliation breaks within strict service level agreement (SLA) guidelines.Working effectively and efficiently through month-end transactional and performance quality controls.Supporting data flow management and quality control to ensure processing of investment data into downstream systems.Identifying, troubleshooting and solving for accounting and data related issuesAnalyzing and addressing abnormalities that impact fee billing calculations with comprehension of monthly rate of returnsSupporting process improvement, creation, documentation, and implementation; partnering with Analysts and Senior Analysts to maintain and update department proceduresSupporting the team in problem solving and root cause analysisOrganizing processes and tracking progress toward team and individual goalsValidating performance returns using time- and money-weighted performance calculationsWhat are we looking for?We’re looking for strong collaborators who deliver exceptional client experiences and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
