IBM is seeking an Associate Data Engineer in Baton Rouge, LA. You will help transform data into insights for improved decision-making and support data movement, integration, and management across enterprise environments.

You’ll work with seasoned consultants and cloud specialists to modernize data ecosystems while building your technical and consulting skills through hands-on client projects and structured learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently completing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in CS, DS, IS, Eng, Math, Stats, Analytics, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, Java, or other programming languages used for data engineering.
• Foundational understanding of databases, data structures, data processing, and analytics concepts.
• Exposure to data engineering, ETL/ELT, reporting, cloud technologies, or data projects.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and modern data architectures.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and business audiences.
• Demonstrated application of programming, data, or analytical skills through coursework or projects.
