Job summary

PayIt is seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing GovTech team. You will work with fellow data engineers to ensure high-quality data is available across reports, data warehouse, and BI tools, supporting the needs of government clients and residents.

The role emphasizes SQL, Python, cloud deployments (AWS preferred), data modeling with dbt, ETL development, and data visualization experience with Tableau, Superset, or Looker. Collaboration and agile practices are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL experience handling large volumes of data and data modeling with dbt.
• Proficiency in Python with test-driven development.
• Experience deploying software to public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and knowledge of NoSQL/SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure high-quality data access across reports, data warehouse, and BI tools.
• Develop ETL solutions and transform data between diverse sources.
• Support analytical reporting and business intelligence with data visualization.
