Job summary

GM Financial is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst to help advance the company’s Cybersecurity Program. You’ll advise on risk management, organize information, and support security initiatives across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Must have high-level understanding of financial services security, risk and privacy.
• Must stay up-to-date on Cybersecurity legislation, regulations, advisories and vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency with information security frameworks and standards.
• Experience with security policies, standards and controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures referencing NIST 800-53 and CSF.
• Audit management and remediation tracking to completion.
• Collaborate with business partners to manage Cybersecurity needs.
• Develop security requirements to protect company from threats.
• Document and report policy discrepancies and change requests.
• Promote Cybersecurity as a business enabler and ensure governance adherence.
• Serve as liaison for Cybersecurity concerns across GMF.
• Represent Global Cybersecurity on projects and translate business requirements into security initiatives.
• Plan, design and monitor security governance, resource and asset management with stakeholders.
