ASSOCIATE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGER

ABOUT YOU:

Are you a yearbook enthusiast with a passion for elevating the educator and student experience? We’re looking for an Associate Customer Experience Manager to lead initiatives that enhance the yearbook customer journey through instructional content, educational engagement, and strategic communications. This is a unique opportunity to blend classroom insight, customer advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration to create resources that drive educator success and student creativity. YOU WILL:

  • Lead Educator Engagement Programs. Develop and oversee a yearbook customer advisory council, enhancing two-way communication and building educator loyalty through feedback loops and peer-based engagement.
  • Use Data to Drive Experience Strategy. Analyze customer data to identify trends and lead initiatives such as adviser onboarding and peer mentoring that drive adviser and student development.
  • Create Classroom-Based Instructional Content. Design and develop curriculum-based resources that support adviser teaching goals and student outcomes, ensuring alignment with Jostens technology and classroom dynamics.
  • Deliver Multi-Channel Educational Messaging. Plan and publish engaging instructional content for digital platforms, social media, and customer-facing communications.
  • Support Marketing Alignment. Ensure yearbook marketing materials reflect authentic classroom messaging and best practices tailored to advisers across experience levels.
  • Champion Recognition and Student Success. Develop initiatives and recognition programs that motivate educators and students while supporting educational outcomes and creative achievement.
  • Collaborate Across Teams. Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with brand and classroom needs.
  • Promote Adviser Growth and Community. Leverage your own yearbook experience to support adviser development and celebrate educator success through strategic communications and events.
  • Typical/expected % of overnight travel:Up to 10%
YOU HAVE:
  • Experience.3+ years of scholastic yearbook experience as a yearbook student, adviser, or related business experience. Preferred experience working in yearbooks as an editor, adviser, consultant or sales representative (if history is in business/marketing).
  • Education.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • Customer Experience Background. 3+ years in a customer experience manager or related role with demonstrated impact on customer satisfaction and engagement.Preferred experience working in professional marketing or business (if history is in education).
  • Strong Communication Skills. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with demonstrated editing expertise and an ability to connect with a range of educator personas.
  • Technical and Design Proficiency. Expertise in Excel, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, with comfort navigating classroom tools and technical platforms.Familiarity with platforms such as WordPress, Salesforce, and Jostens tools like LayoutPro or Monarch.
  • Project Management Skills. Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple priorities and content calendars.
  • Collaborative and Flexible Mindset. Proven ability to work both independently and cross-functionally, with an open-minded approach to building creative and inclusive solutions.
