Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience in garment construction, sample making, and pattern development.
• Advanced understanding of flat pattern making and draping techniques.
• Proven ability to sew high-quality samples independently.
• Experience in fast-paced, design-driven apparel environments.
• Familiarity with tech packs and garment standards.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work across various fabrics and tailoring techniques.
• Proficient in using industrial sewing machines.

Responsibilities

• Translate creative concepts into refined prototypes and development samples.
• Draft, modify, and finalize patterns and muslins.
• Build and iterate on samples for various woven fabrics.
• Troubleshoot fit and construction issues.
• Provide detail-oriented workmanship in sample construction.
• Review tech packs and offer feedback.
• Support technical communication and production hand-offs.
• Ensure consistency and brand alignment across samples.
