Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Associate Content Producer who is also a native social creator—someone who doesn’t just understand content production, but is already actively creating content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or Youtube.

You will lead production for testimonials, social-first content, and creator partnerships from concept to delivery, in our Downtown Los Angeles office. Travel is covered and performance drives advancement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Production experience or demonstrable portfolio of high-quality social content.
• Editing experience with video content creation.
• Nice to have: Spanish language skills and a network of creators.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with restaurant partners to produce video testimonials.
• Manage logistics: scheduling, locations, approvals, and communication.
• Coordinate shoots (in-person and remote) with videographers and operators.
• Direct shoots, capture content in real restaurant environments, and manage end-to-end production.
• Oversee post-production: asset delivery, editor handoffs, and multiple edit versions.
• Source and manage creators for Instagram/TikTok content and guide content direction.

We increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches.

What you’ll do

Testimonial Production

• Coordinate with restaurant partners to produce video testimonials
• Manage logistics: scheduling, locations, approvals, and communication
• Coordinate shoots (in-person and remote) with videographers and operator

Social-First Content Creation

• Create native, platform-first content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social channels.
• Be comfortable getting behind or in front of the camera when the concept calls for it.
• Bring a strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, trends, and what makes people stop scrolling.
• Regularly pitch and execute new content concepts that feel authentic to the platform—not like traditional corporate marketing.

Creative Execution

• Direct shoots (framing, interview flow, storytelling)
• Capture high-quality, authentic content in real restaurant environments
• Adapt quickly and problem-solve on location
• End-to-end production; concept to delivery

Post-production

• Manage asset delivery and handoff to editors.
• Coordinate multiple edit versions for social and paid media
• Provide feedback aligned with creative and growth marketing goals

Creator & Influencer Partnerships

• Source and manage creators for Instagram/TikTok content
• Guide content direction to drive performance
• Manage contracts, deliverables, and timelines

Role details

• Contract-to-hire (12-weeks) role will convert to full-time after 3 months contingent on performance
• Based in Los Angeles (in-office at our Downtown LA HQ)
• Requires travel across Greater Los Angeles and occasionally beyond (all expenses covered)
• Opportunity to grow and transition into a full-time role based on performance

What we’re looking for

Experience

• 2–3 years of Production experience OR demonstrable portfolio of high-quality, high-impact social media or video content
• Editing Experience
• This is a great opportunity for someone looking to transition from film, TV, or entertainment technology and marketing.

• Portfolio of video or highly visible and engaging social media work
• Network of videographers and/or creators
• You are a fluent Spanish speaker

The base salary range for this role is $66,000 - $78,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
