We are seeking an Associate Creative Director (UI/UX) to lead the creative strategy and execution of user-centered digital experiences. This role blends hands-on design work with creative direction and team leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced digital designer who can deliver exceptional web and mobile interfaces while mentoring a team and collaborating across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the concepting, design, and execution of user experiences across digital products including websites, platforms, and apps.
- Create and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries.
- Translate complex problems into intuitive and elegant solutions.
- Collaborate with creative directors, UX strategists, developers, and project managers to ensure cohesive and high-quality delivery.
- Guide and mentor designers through reviews, feedback, and career development.
- Present design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Use data, user research, and testing to inform design decisions and drive performance.
- Stay current with digital design trends, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of experience in digital design, with at least 3years in a leadership role at an agency.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional UI/UX design work across a range of digital experiences.
- Expertise in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other key software and tools relevant to the industry.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, design systems, accessibility (WCAG), and user flows.
- Experience mentoring and managing designers.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in pharmaceutical marketing or working in regulated industries
- Familiarity with motion design, AR/VR, or front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
This role is largely remote, however it will require being local to the NJ/tristate area location.
