GENERAL SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Freelance Associate Creative Director with an art-based background for an estimated three (3) months.

IMPORTANT CALL-OUTS ABOUT THE JOB

  • Motion & Graphic Design chops are essential in this role (After Effects)
  • Streaming/Theatrical client experience is required
  • Candidates must be located on the West Coast of the US
  • Trailer Park Group pays our freelance staff via W2 payroll

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Concept and direct campaign-level art design for social-forward campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and project managers to build out and plan the campaign.
  • Work fluidly across channels and platforms.
  • Help lead teams with storyboarding/shot lists/creative direction
  • Implement feedback received from internal and client teams
  • Proactively track, prioritize, organize, plan, and implement tasks
  • Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with staff, vendors, and clients
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

ABOUT YOU

  • Award-winning or award-worthy social-forward portfolio that shows craft and attention to detail
  • Adept at Art Direction and hands-on motion experience (After Effects)
  • 6+ years of art direction experience with an integrated marketing/ad agency absolutely required
  • Horror genre project experience is helpful
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines; organized, detail-oriented, and friendly
  • Must be even-tempered and able to interact and adapt well under pressure, with various teams on various projects with tight deadlines
  • Entertainment, agency, or game industry experience preferred
  • Ability to lead creative talent with grace and strategic support

Please note that the below range is payable via day rate (not hourly). Also note that all freelance work is paid via W2 payroll at Trailer Park Group.
