Job description

Associate Creative Director, Brand + Performance Marketing (Hybrid)

Chicago, IL

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas or take over sponsorship at this time.

About the role:Enova Studios is looking for a sharp, hands-on Associate Creative Director to lead performance-driven creative across paid channels, email, display, and web—and help reshape how we do it. This role blends smart strategy with standout execution. You won’t just make high-performing creative—you’ll help reinvent the way our team works, streamlining processes, leveling up quality, and pushing creative that actually converts. If you thrive at the intersection of craft and change, this one’s for you.

As part of a nimble, cross-functional creative team, you’ll drive concept development and execution—from first draft to final pixel. You’ll bring clarity to briefs, polish to every asset, and structure to our systems. Your focus will be on building up our paid social capabilities, evolving our email program, and scaling personalized creative that performs—without compromising brand integrity or user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative development of performance marketing assets across paid social, display, email, SMS, and web.
  • Concept and design ads, email templates, landing pages, and personalized experiences that convert.
  • Partner with growth and lifecycle teams to plan, test, and optimize creative across channels.
  • Use performance data to iterate on concepts and improve creative efficiency.
  • Collaborate with media, product marketing, and brand teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and message alignment.
  • Inspire, manage and mentor a small team of designers
  • Oversee internal and external creative partners
  • Anticipate platform trends and harness emerging technologies to ensure creative consistency and speed across all channels.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables in partnership with Creative Ops.
  • Guide your team in presenting creative work to stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong portfolio of digital ad creative, lifecycle campaigns, landing pages, and iterative test-and-learn executions.
  • Proven experience in regulated industries, preferably financial services.
  • Fluency in GenAI tools to speed up concepting, production, and iteration.
  • Experience building and executing creative testing roadmaps across paid and CRM channels.
  • Familiarity with multivariate testing and rapid creative experimentation.
  • A strong POV on what makes creative work in a performance-driven environment.
  • Hands-on skills in creative tools e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Comfort with data—can translate performance metrics into actionable creative strategies.
  • An eye for good design, strong UX instincts, and a bias toward rapid iteration.
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills, versed in a variety of project management tools.
  • 10+ years in a creative leadership role with a focus on performance and growth marketing, with 5+ years experience of directly managing teams, agencies, and cross-functional creative processes.

Enova Studios is a full-service in-house creative agency. We partner with our brands to concept and create the ideas — big and small — that accomplish our shared goal: selling our products and building our business. We work in small, collaborative teams on internal projects for Enova, as well as each of our 10 international brands. Our services include copy and content writing, digital design, user experience design, front-end development, and production.

Compensation:

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $95,000 to $138,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown.
