We’re partnering with a highly regarded boutique investment bank in New York that is looking to hire an Associate Counsel to join its growing legal team.

Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for a junior attorney with 3-4 years of experience who wants to move closer to the business and gain hands‑on exposure to transactions, senior leadership, and investment banking operations in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Role Overview

Working directly alongside the General Counsel, you’ll play a key role supporting deal execution and advising bankers and corporate functions across the firm. The role offers significant responsibility from day one and a clear path toward a broader transactional legal career.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating engagement letters, NDAs, access letters and other deal‑related documentation
• Reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, consulting, licensing and service contracts
• Supporting bankers through internal compliance, conflicts and KYC processes
• Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to provide practical legal guidance
• Helping drive legal innovation initiatives, including the adoption of AI and technology solutions across legal workflows
