What will you do?
A day in the life of a Associate Counsel, Commercial at VF looks a little like this.
As Associate Counsel, Commercial (Americas), you will handle a variety of engaging legal issues, working alongside an accomplished team around the globe, enabling some of the world’s most beloved and iconic brands. You will make a difference for our VF consumers and employees by facilitating critical business initiatives in the areas of wholesale, direct-to-consumer, and indirect procurement. The Associate Counsel, Commercial AMER, will work with a wide range of VF teams as well as exciting brands like Vans, The North Face, Timberland, and Dickies, across the Americas’ region.
The primary responsibility of the Associate Counsel, Commercial (Americas) is to provide expert legal guidance and support to ensure VF business activities and operations align with all applicable laws and regulations. This position demands a robust understanding of regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, risk management, sales and distribution, and litigation. Our ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a strong ethical foundation.
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with various departments, including the Americas’ Commercial teams, Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Human Resources, providing legal insights that drive informed business decisions and safeguard our organizational interests. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at handling complex legal issues with a high degree of professionalism. Whether you are negotiating contracts, managing litigation, or advising on regulatory and commercial matters, your contributions will be critical to our ongoing success and sustainability.
The Associate Counsel, Commercial AMER, position reports to the Associate General Counsel, Commercial, and does not have direct reports.

Hiring Range:
$136,000.00 USD - $170,000.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, orcommissionpotential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
