  • Maintain the costing tracker, keeping style-level costs, status, and revision history accurate and up to date as costs change throughout development
  • Review incoming cost information for accuracy and completeness, and flag variances, discrepancies, or questions to the Development Costing Engineer
Cost Sheets & Production Ordering
  • Build and maintain Cost Sheets in BlueCherry for Production Ordering, ensuring all cost components are complete and accurate before orders are released
  • Track costing milestones against the seasonal development and production ordering calendars, and communicate status and open items to the team
  • Support the accurate transfer of approved costs between development records, the costing tracker, and BlueCherry
Cost Analysis & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Support the Development Costing Engineer with style-level cost analysis, including tracking costs against targets and highlighting risks early
  • Partner with Product Development and Sourcing to confirm styles, construction details, and vendor assignments that affect cost
  • Act as a collaborative, reliable partner across cross-functional teams, modeling professionalism, respect, and inclusion
Process Improvement
  • Contribute to the refinement of costing tools, templates, and processes that improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives related to costing and development efficiency
Key Performance Indicators
  • Costing Tracker Accuracy and Timeliness
  • FOB/DDP Data Completeness
  • On-time Cost Sheet Completion for Production Ordering
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in costing, product development, sourcing, merchandising, or a related analytical role in apparel, home, or soft goods
  • Working understanding of FOB and DDP terms and basic landed cost concepts preferred
  • Familiarity with apparel/home/accessories construction and materials a plus
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data organization; strong competency with Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred; BlueCherry experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity and the ability to manage multiple styles, vendors, and timelines simultaneously
  • Proactive follow-up and a persistent, solutions-oriented approach to closing information gaps
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with vendors and partners across multiple teams
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new software, tools, processes, and product categories
  • Passion for quality product and appreciation for Pendleton's history, values, and commitment to craftsmanship
