Pay Range: $134,502 - $199,935.

Position: Associate Cost Estimator

Location: Walnut Creek, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost estimating on complex civil, structural, and tunnel projects.
• Assist lead estimator with conceptual estimates, production estimates, take-offs, database maintenance, and field visits.
• Collaborate on risk assessments, review design drawings and specifications, and provide QA reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' field experience in heavy civil tunnel projects; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience with cost estimating, pricing, and claims or change orders.
• Engineering or Construction Management degree; professional registration or ability to obtain within a year.
• Strong analytical and software skills, including specification writing and scheduling.
