Job Description

We are seeking an Associate to join our Consumer and Community Bank (CCB) Corporate Development Strategic Investments team. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience and strong analytical skills, with a background in investment banking, investments, strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or a similar field.

As an Associate on the CCB Corporate Development team , you will support strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and drive key projects primarily across our AI priorities within product, technology and operations. You will work closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver impactful recommendations and analyses, and you will be involved in the full life cycle of deals.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Excellent presentation and proficiency in design and formatting tools for creating professional presentations for senior leaders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; ability to create compelling, executive-level presentations.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with valuation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in financial services or banking.
  • Exposure to M&A transactions, strategic investments, or partnership deals.
