Google is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support the Quantum AI team in Mountain View, CA. You will advise on computing hardware/software paradigms and partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to scale quantum computing efforts.
You will address privacy, IP, security, competition, and consumer protection across the product lifecycle, from research to launch. Individual pay includes base, bonus, and equity considerations.
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

As Associate Corporate Counsel, you will be an adept legal counsel with experience in advising on computing hardware and software paradigms. You will work with product managers, engineers, and researchers to support the Google Quantum AI team's rapid scaling and frontier goal of building quantum computing for otherwise unsolvable problems, targeting the delivery of truly useful error-corrected machines.
In this role, you will work closely with product, business, and cross-functional teams and will participate in counseling quantum computing products and services end-to-end, from research and development to launch and beyond. The initiatives in this area are new and growing, at the front of quantum information science and technology. You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio advising on a wide range of legal issues including privacy, intellectual property, security, marketing, consumer protection, and competition, among others.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $217000 - $314000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
