Amazon's Global Entertainment Legal team is seeking an exceptional Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Music, Amazon’s immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators.

You will structure, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, provide ongoing legal counsel across IP, digital media, and regulatory compliance, and may travel as needed. This role sits at the heart of entertainment tech law within Amazon.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal experience in entertainment, media, or tech sectors.
• Juris Doctor and bar admission in one state.
• Knowledge of AI ethics in the legal context (confidentiality, accuracy, bias prevention).

Key job responsibilities

• Structuring, drafting, and negotiating distribution, development, licensing, production, marketing, and other commercial agreements; and providing ongoing legal counsel across a range of fields, including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance.
• Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
• Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
• Deep understanding of consumer law and regulations impacting subscription businesses

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
