Hitachi Energy’s Transformers Business Unit in Crystal Springs, Mississippi seeks an Associate Controls Engineer to start your engineering career with hands-on training, mentorship, and meaningful project work that supports transformer components manufacturing operations.

You will participate in a tailored development program designed to strengthen technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills while collaborating with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering.
2+ years of relevant industry experience; internship/co-op considered.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Learn the fundamentals of Hitachi Energy’s Transformers and Components business, product portfolio, manufacturing processes, and operations.
Participate in challenging projects that expand your engineering knowledge and practical experience.
Support product design and engineering activities that contribute to manufacturing excellence.
Take ownership of learning objectives and project deliverables throughout the training program.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
