What you will do

The candidate will use technical skills to find innovative and unique solutions for automating industrial processes. Electrical Engineering and programming will be utilized when working with experienced professionals in a multi-disciplined environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for programming and designing PLC controls for new equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting existing controls installations.
  • Allen Bradley Control Logix and Siemens S7 PLC programming.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming; including C#, WPF.
  • Ethernet networking experience, including topology and NAT.
  • Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Must be regular in attendance.
  • Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment.
  • Able to interact with all levels of management.
  • Strong presentation skills in person and on the telephone.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
  • Must be able to travel as required.

  • Work environment involves situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
  • Must be able to read printed word, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must have a neat business-like appearance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive an automobile.
  • Must be able to travel on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircraft, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.

What you will bring

  • BSEE or BSECE with 1-3 years’ experience designing, programming industrial control systems and automation exposure.
