The NYC Department of Youth and Community Development is seeking an Associate Contract Specialist to manage procurements and ensure compliance with funding rules. Candidates should have a degree or relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and Word. The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish.
Under the direction of the Assistant Deputy Agency Chief Contracting Officer (ADACCO), DYCD is seeking to hire an Associate Contract Specialist.
1. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with two years of relevant experience, or
2. Four-year high school diploma with six years of relevant experience, or
3. Equivalent education and experience as above, with college credits substituted for experience at a rate of 30 credits per year.
All candidates must have at least a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience.
