Job summary

Virtusa seeks a seasoned Product/Program leader focused on retail risk within financial services. You will drive product management and analysis, aligning risk stakeholders with engineering to deliver scalable risk platforms.

The role requires experience with CCAR/DFAST style regimes and a strong analytics mindset, enabling robust monitoring, fraud detection, and risk dashboards across complex financial products.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management or business analysis within financial services with retail risk focus.
• 5+ years direct experience with CCAR, DFAST or similar regulatory stress testing frameworks and loss forecasting processes.
• SAFe 6.0 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM).
• Proven track record delivering complex technology platforms/products in agile environments.
• Bridge Risk & Compliance stakeholders with engineering to build automated controls, fraud detection, audit trails, and risk analytics dashboards.

Job description

• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, user story authoring, strong communicator 10+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role within financial services, with a strong focus on retail risk.
• 5+ years of direct experience with CCAR, DFAST, or similar regulatory stress testing frameworks and loss forecasting processes.
• Should be a SAFe 6.0 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology platforms or products in an agile environment.
• Experience in execution of product features that mitigate operational, financial, and regulatory risks. You will bridge the gap between our Risk & Compliance stakeholders and the engineering teams to build robust, scalable tools—such as automated control monitoring, fraud detection systems, audit trails, and risk analytics dashboards.
• Familiarity with risk modelling concepts and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of retail credit products (e.g., credit cards, mortgages) and associated risk drivers.
• Familiarity with risk modeling concepts (PD, LGD, EAD) and methodologies.
• Experience with data analytics tools, SQL, and understanding of large-scale data architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies and platforms used in risk management and data warehousing.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse teams.
