Job summary

Oracle Health is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to design, configure, activate, and support Oracle Health EHR solutions for federal agencies. You will lead workflow design and provide expert guidance across DoD, VA, IHS, and other government health programs.

The role requires HCIT consulting experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50%. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for government security clearance are required.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years total related work experience.
  • At least 1 year HCIT consulting or other client-facing IT solution experience.
  • 1 year in clinician or practitioner, functional or technical roles; undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance.
  • Backend build experience in PathNet or similar areas.
  • Experience with Bedrock, CCL, DCPTools, Reference Range Wizards, Virtual Views, Discern Rule Writing, Reference Lab Interfaces, Medical Device Interfaces.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.

We are looking for an experienced Consultant to help design, configure, activate, and support the implementation of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) solutions across Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs and Indian Health Service.

The Federal Consulting team is a group of hard‑working, knowledgeable, passionate members who want to shape the electronic health records systems for active‑duty service men and women, their beneficiaries, our Nation’s Veteran’s, American Indians, and Alaska Natives.

An associate consultant is a consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Consultant, you will consult with clients on service line workflow, and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will drive client‑specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients. You will mitigate solution risks and issues. You will execute workflow and process improvement strategies. You will lead client meetings and events. You will drive internal team initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

At least 2 years total combined related work experience

At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client‑facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience.

1 year of overall experience in relevant clinician or practitioner, functional or technical roles. Knowledge and experience with Oracle Health Federal Clinical Laboratory products is a plus. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.

Backend build experience in PathNet or other similar areas

Experience in any of the following: Bedrock, CCL, DCPTools, Reference Range Wizards, Virtual Views, Discern Rule Writing, Reference Lab Interfaces, Medical Device Interfaces

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Self‑starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.

U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.

Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.

Expectations

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.

Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from $25.82 to $50.43 per hour; from: $53,700 to $104,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
