Job summary

VikingCloud is seeking an Associate Consultant for a full-time, remote US-based role. You will support cybersecurity and compliance projects, coordinate with multiple teams, and produce professional documentation and client deliverables.

The position offers growth within an international company, with opportunities to travel to client sites as needed and contribute to information security programs, policies, and remediation recommendations.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform project tasks without the need for direct supervision.
• Ability to collect and organize documentation and artifacts for projects.
• Assist and coordinate with multiple teams on large scale projects.
• Contribute a significant piece of a project deliverable.
• Ability to create detailed, professional documentation to be delivered to clients.
• Ability to create and recommend remediation for components of security policies.
• Understanding of basic information systems including servers, virtualization, infrastructure systems, client-server architecture and databases with the ability of reviewing technical controls.
• Understanding of multiple standards and regulatory areas including PCI, HIPAA, Data Privacy, Cyber Risk and ISO 27001/27002
• Familiarity with MS Office365 applications
• Ability to travel to support business and client requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communications
