Job summary

Turtle, a long-standing electrical distribution leader, seeks an Associate Consultant to join our enterprise technology team. You will work on customer projects across NY/NJ, supporting network infrastructure and field installations with Cisco systems, Rockwell, Eaton, and related technologies.

The role requires a college degree and hands-on experience with client/network operating systems, plus strong communication and troubleshoot skills. Office in NJ with field assignments across the region.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• Experience implementing and administering client and network operating systems.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work in the field and install equipment.
• CCNA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist consulting team on customer projects.
• Support network infrastructure projects (Cisco switches/routers/firewalls/WLC).
• Deploy PC/Apple devices as needed.
• Troubleshoot applications.
• Support automation/industrial tech with Rockwell and Eaton.
• Assist field installations and customer activities.

About the Role

The Associate Consultant will be part of a consultant team that works for Enterprise and Operational Technology . Many customers include Utility, Power Plants, Manufacturing Facilities, and other Industries. The company has four (4) distinct lines of business: Automation and Industrial Technology, Environmental Consulting, Enterprise Technology and Project Management.

This is a full-time position that will work at various customer locations in NY and NJ and in the NJ office. Salary range is based on relevant experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with our consulting team on customer projects.
• Will support solutions for new and expanded Network infrastructure, wired, wireless, with a focus on Cisco Systems Switches, Routers, Firewalls, WLC, Servers and Software-based solutions.
• PC technology solutions that can include PC, Apple iPad/iPhone deployments.
• Application troubleshooting.
• Support Automation and Industrial technology solutions from Rockwell Automation, Eaton, and others.
• Support other consultants with Field Installation work and Customer Activities.

Who we are Looking for

• College Degree required
• Experience implementing and administering client and network operating systems.
• Technology experience required
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated team players and who have strong communication, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
• Cisco CCNA certification is a plus or interest in earning certification.
• Ability to work in the field with installations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, etc.
