Job Overview

The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking an Associate Computer Systems Analyst - Linux to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on‑site, full‑time at our Melbourne, FL location.

Responsibilities
  • Exhibit good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers.
  • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware in the asset management system, updating the records for each deployment, upgrade, relocation, and retirement.
  • Assist with the resolution of technical problems and answer queries by telephone in support of internal customers relating to computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
  • Collaborate with network, software, and system engineers, and PC desktop technicians to operate multi‑user computer systems.
  • Support multiple networks under supervision, ensuring necessary administration tasks are completed following all security policies and procedures.
  • Follow documented technical processes and procedures in support of job duties as assigned.
  • Report task statuses as required for all recurring and non‑recurring efforts in written and oral format.
  • Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, operating systems, networks, applications, and between one‑time events and recurrent systematic problems.
  • Support environments by means of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • Raise issues that require senior‑level attention or involvement.
  • Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Work after hours, and on weekends, as needed.
Basic Qualifications
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience; or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience.
  • Able to obtain a Security+ within 9 months of start date.
  • Current U.S. Government Secret security clearance (at a minimum), completed within the last 6 years; or enrollment in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment.
  • Experience using Linux.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Active Security+ certification.
  • Experience supporting environments using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
Salary

Primary Level Salary Range: $59,900.00 - $89,900.00. The range is a guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions when determining the base salary offer. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and for senior positions, long‑term incentives.
