Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking an Associate Community Banker in Billings, MT to deliver personalized client service and build long-term client relationships. You will open and maintain a range of products, conduct teller transactions, discuss loan options, and actively refer customers to Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, and Wealth Management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Banking or related experience required.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator per the SAFE Act preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone by answering questions, assisting with issues, and offering solutions.
• Opens and maintains products including checking accounts, Savings, IRAs and CDs.
• Performs Teller duties including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing and loan payments.
• Engages in conversations about and processes new consumer loan requests.
• Identifies referral opportunities to other lines of business and documents activity.
