Location: Remote (CST business hours)Job Type: Mon-Fri, 9 AM-5 PM (40 hrs/week)Compensation Range: $23-28/hr (W2)We're seeking a detail-oriented and creative Associate Communication Specialist to support the development and execution of custom communication strategies for a diverse client base. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong writing, editing, and project coordination skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Duration: Through December (with potential to extend or convert)Responsibilities:

Assist senior team members in creating and delivering tailored communications.

Attend client meetings, track deliverables, and support presentation prep.

Write, edit, and proof internal and external communication materials.

Manage editorial calendars, timelines, and project workflows.

Ensure brand and style consistency across all content.

Collaborate with designers and upload final content to internal platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat and Workfront/ProofHQ are a plus.

2-3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or related fields preferred.

Experience with various content formats (emails, flyers, presentations, microsites).

Must have your own, reliable laptop to use.
