The New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and people-centered leader to serve as Associate Commissioner of Administration. Reporting directly to the Executive Deputy Commissioner, the Associate Commissioner will oversee the Divisions of Human Resources and General Services, working in close partnership with the Office of Labor Relations and Investigations to ensure the agency’s administrative infrastructure is strong, equitable, and aligned with HPD’s mission.
This senior role is central to shaping the employee experience, strengthening operational support systems, and ensuring HPD has the talent, resources, and administrative capacity needed to advance the Mayoral Housing Plan and deliver high-impact services to New Yorkers.
The Associate Commissioner of Administration will provide strategic leadership across HPD’s administrative portfolio, guiding policies and operations that support almost 2,500 employees.
