Job summary

The role focuses on building cloud-based data architectures, real-time and batch pipelines, and metadata-driven ingestion. Strong emphasis on security, orchestration, and IaC is required to enable scalable data processing across multiple cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience.
• Experience designing distributed data processing pipelines and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud and Hadoop-based platforms.
• Experience building metadata-driven ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Familiarity with data security and access controls for cloud data.
• Hands-on with data workflow orchestration tools and monitoring.
• CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code via Git/Jenkins/Terraform.
• Experience integrating heterogeneous data sources and relational databases (Parquet, JSON, XML).

Responsibilities

• Design and refine cloud architecture and roadmaps for cloud adoption.
• Develop and implement distributed data processing pipelines and Spark workloads.
• Build cloud-based data architectures and data lakes with secure access controls.
• Create near-real-time and batch data pipelines with Kafka and REST integrations.
• Develop metadata-driven ingestion and transformation frameworks.
• Operate big data workloads on Hadoop and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Manage data workflows with Airflow, Control-M, and cloud schedulers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Git, Jenkins, and Terraform.
