Sample Activities You’ll Do
Creating a Self‑Service Account Framework
- Development of POC code for automating the implementation of AWS account setup and configuration
- Account Framework – developing an automated Continuous Delivery Pipeline framework that establishes AWS accounts with configured, tested infrastructure in a repeatable, reliable and secure manner, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
- Security Control Policies – development of the Service Control Policies and account baselines associated with the customer’s security and compliance requirements.
Creating a Self‑Service Environment Framework
- Development of POC code to automate the implementation of application infrastructure code
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code – development of infrastructure‑as‑code specific to each application that can be used to automate delivery of configured AWS resources specific to the requirements of the application being deployed.
- Configuration Management – development of configuration management modules specific to each application used to automate configuration of servers including software installation and configuration.
- Service Catalog Pipeline – development of a framework for orchestrating build, test, deployment, and validation of infrastructure automation code.
Creating a Self‑Service Pipeline Framework
- Development of POC code to automate the implementation of pipelines
- Pipeline Skeletons – development of infrastructure‑as‑code specific to pipelines used to automate delivery of configured AWS resources for the application.
Creating a Self‑Service Compliance Framework
- Development of POC code to automate the implementation of controls
- Policy Definition – identification and documentation of customer policy in the form of specific statements that must be true about configuration of AWS resources.
- Policy‑as‑Code Development – development of the logical tests associated with each of the policies to assert infrastructure state on AWS, block a build, take automated reactive action, or alert on violations.
- Framework Development – design allowing execution of logical tests against infrastructure code or running AWS infrastructure to assert state and block a build, take automated action, or alert.
AWS Data Architecture and Data Lake Implementation
- Development of POC code for data collection, ingestion, cataloging, storage, and serving, optimized to access, curate, serve and analyze information from up to two on‑premises data sources
- Build Data Lake in AWS using AWS analytics in a multi‑account environment.
- Modern big data lambda architecture, providing an environment for consumption and utilization of data from batch or streaming sources.
