Department Summary

The Department of Electrical Engineering combines hands-on research, engaging faculty, and top-of-the-line facilities to provide students with the best education. The department's multidisciplinary coursework gives students opportunities to solve problems by working with other engineering experts. The department offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering programs.

UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. Position Overview

The Department of Electrical Engineering seeks qualified individuals for its clinical associate professor. The position is expected to teach courses in both undergraduate and graduate level in electrical engineering. The position is also expected to provide academic advising to undergraduate students.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related fields, or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to the assigned courses(s). Additional consideration may be given for equivalent applied experience in accordance with faculty credentialing guidelines. Meets the criteria outlined in UNT Policy 06.005.

Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.
