Our client is a very prestigious family office seeking an associate to join their growing team in San Francisco.

The Associate will work closely with the COO to handle all client advisory work and assist in managing daily client requests.

  • Provide proactive, high-touch support in managing family relationships, including lifestyle services, strategies, and operations.
  • Liaise with trusted advisors such as bankers, attorneys, mortgage brokers, and insurance brokers.
  • Support legal, tax, and wealth transfer strategies, including preparing documentation for gifting, wills, trusts, tax planning, asset protection, and philanthropy.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of estate planning vehicles like Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Delaware Trusts, and LLCs.
  • Coordinate with third-party service vendors for household needs.
  • Manage clients' property and casualty insurance policies.
  • Monitor political contribution filings to ensure compliance with laws.
  • Review reports prepared by accounting staff before client distribution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BA/BS, preferably in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
  • 3+ years of experience in Private Wealth or Family Office environments.
  • Client-oriented with a professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to gather data, solve complex problems, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
