Job summary

Bridgewater Associates is seeking an Associate to support the Client Service Department, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and that the team achieves strategic goals.

The role acts as an air traffic controller for administrative, operational, and project-management tasks, coordinating with teams and handling about 30 clients.

Hybrid schedule with on-site four days per week at Westport, CT campus; strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Effective written and oral communication with strong attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; comfortable learning new tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or a professional business environment is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with your team’s Client Advisor to organize an operational cadence and provide calendar support.
  • Provide high-quality client service as first point of contact for emails and calls.
  • Distill information and synthesize key points for the team and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate tasks and collaboration sessions to meet client needs from visualization to scheduling.
  • Drive execution and project-manage initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Track progress and keep knowledge repositories up to date (e.g., CRM).
  • Prepare for client interactions with presentations, prep notes, and technology.
  • Coordinate client and team logistics, including travel strategy and events.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems efficiently and independently.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve departmental operations.

About the Role

As an Associate, you’ll help the Client Service Department achieve our mission by ensuring clients receive exceptional service and that your team is achieving its strategic goals. You will act as the team’s “air traffic controller,” responsible for a variety of administrative, operational, and project‑management activities, serving around 30 clients.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with your team’s Client Advisor to turn client goals into an organized operational cadence, providing administrative and calendar support.
  • Provide high‑quality client service, acting as the first point of contact for all email or phone inquiries.
  • Distill information and synthesize the key points to the team and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate tasks, activities, and collaboration sessions to meet client needs, from visualization to scheduling.
  • Drive execution, provide direction, and project‑manage initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Facilitate synchronization and communication across the team by tracking and reporting on the status of key activities and keeping knowledge repositories up to date (e.g., CRM).
  • Ensure team and key stakeholders are prepared for all client interactions, including presentations, prep notes, and technology.
  • Coordinate logistics for clients and the team, including travel strategy, events, and presentation materials.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems efficiently and independently.
  • Work with other teams on projects to improve departmental operations.
Minimum Qualifications

Physical Requirements

This role follows a hybrid schedule, with an onsite requirement of four days per week at our Westport, CT campus.

Wage Range

The wage range for this role is $135,000–$200,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80% and 90% of this wage range.
