Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. seeks an aspiring Account Manager in Anaheim to support client relationships and learn to own a book of business under guidance. The role focuses on renewals, quotes, and coordination with carriers, while developing core professional competencies and adherence to our values.

You will train formally and informally, work withAccount Executives, and progressively handle tasks with oversight. The position offers a path to ownership and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance or related industry
  • Ability to work within AMS and maintain data completeness standards
  • High level of organization and ability to interface with clients and carriers
  • Ability to delegate to appropriate parties when necessary
  • Experience with MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Some travel required (up to 10%)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Shadows AM and assists on renewals
  • Demonstrates proficiency to perform all job tasks with AE & AM oversight, including:
  • Using the client workbook, and under the direction of the Account Executive, creates the marketing submission and manages ongoing negotiates with carriers
  • Receives quotes, reviews for accuracy and desired coverages, terms, pricing from submission, generates and populates the proposal, and sends to Account Executive for completion/review
  • Receives policies, sends instructions to the applicable COE and keeps COE abreast of any changes that occur during negotiations with ability to process the policy if needed
  • Other general responsibilities include premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, Certificate of Insurance request template preparation & master approval, on-demand certificates, basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, and audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies

Salary Range

$70,000—$80,000 USD
