Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or 2+ years in funds transfer operations.
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international payment processing.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, USD clearing and settlement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve payment inquiries, exceptions, and transaction discrepancies.
  • Investigate payment activity using internal processing platforms, clearing networks, and appropriate communication channels.
  • Process financial adjustments, reimbursements, and other payment-related corrections following investigation.
  • Prepare supporting payment documentation, accounting entries, and processing instructions.
  • Monitor transaction activity throughout the business day and identify items requiring follow-up.
  • Manage open investigation cases through resolution and ensure outstanding items are addressed within required timelines.
  • Perform reconciliation of suspense, exception, and other payment-related accounts.
  • Review investigation activity, identify trends or unresolved issues, and prepare operational reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation supporting payment investigations and financial adjustments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve payment issues.
  • Assist with additional payment operations responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, U.S. dollar clearing, and settlement processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working with numerical information, reconciliations, and payment calculations.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple outstanding items simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Chinese-language proficiency is a plus, particularly for communicating with international colleagues and affiliated offices.
