Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the facility in clean and orderly condition. The incumbent will perform cleaning duties in the controlled manufacturing environment as well as other areas in the facility such as recycling, cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Job Responsibilities
- Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug
- Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware and metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Performs other duties as required.
Job Requirements
Knowledge/Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Job Experience
- 0-2 years’ experience in facility maintenance/cleaning. Hospital or controlled room experience a plus.
Skills/Competencies
- Controlled Manufacturing Environment cleaning
