Job description

Risha Engineering Group has openings for an Associate Engineer position focused on new construction and rehabilitation projects across the Western United States. Projects include office, retail, educational, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial buildings. This is a work from office position based in Burbank.

Duties include:

1. Preparing complete calculations for wood, steel, and concrete buildings under supervision, within allotted hours and budgets.
2. Designing and detailing connections for all materials.
3. Supervising the preparation of construction documents by CAD personnel.
4. Ensuring that progress and plan check submittal packages are complete.
5. Preparing well-written technical reports.
6. Demonstrating thorough understanding of building and material codes.
7. Having some knowledge of performance-based advanced analytical techniques and ASCE 41 is a plus.
8. Must have 3–5 years of experience and a BSCE degree.
9. California PE license or the ability to obtain one within two years.
