Job summary

Pennoni is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer for full-time work in the Clearwater or Tampa area. The role involves contributing to public and private site development projects, including planning, design, permitting, and reports, under supervision of a senior engineer.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of site design experience, and is proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and H&H modeling tools such as HydroCAD. FE/EIT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related)
• 3+ years of professional site design experience
• Experience with land development and regulatory permitting
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of stormwater design and SWM/H&H modeling

Responsibilities

• Prepare site plan drawings compliant with municipal regulations
• Design site layout, grading, utilities, and removals
• Develop SWM/H&H models and related calculations
• Prepare permit applications and reports
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
