Job summary

University of Oregon’s Information Services invites applications for Associate Chief Information Officer for Enterprise Solutions. The role leads enterprise applications, data management, and integration, guiding strategy, roadmaps, and governance.

You will collaborate with campus partners to modernize ERP/SIS and drive multi-year transformation initiatives. You will manage a team of around 40 professionals, oversee budgets, and liaise with vendors and regulators to advance university

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive IT leadership experience with demonstrated depth in business process improvement and redesign, enterprise applications, integration services, and data management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience developing and managing high-performing technology teams, including direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring of IT professionals.
• Demonstrated experience leading information technology services in a large, decentralized, or otherwise complex organizational environment.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and sustaining organizational change in environments where trust-building, stakeholder engagement, and long-term commitment are essential to success.
• Experience managing and negotiating vendor contracts and agreements with end-users, service providers and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Enterprise Solutions groups, including enterprise applications, data platforms, and integration services.
• Develop and implement annual and long-term plans for budget, personnel, and technology acquisition, retirement, and lifecycle.
• Lead modernization efforts for ERP and SIS environments, coordinating stakeholder engagement and governance.
• Serve as primary liaison to regulators, vendors, and professional organizations.
• Direct a team of approximately 40 professionals and oversee budget authority for Enterprise Solutions.
