Job Description

Eurofins Lancaster Labs is hiring an Associate Chemist on 1st Shift, Tues-Sat, 7am-3:30pm. Training will be M-F, 1st shift.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Maintain instrumentation
  2. Tune and calibrate instruments daily
  3. Analyze quality control and client samples
  4. Review and assemble data efficiently with high quality
  5. Evaluate current organizational and analytical systems
  6. Suggest and implement corrective actions to meet client and regulatory requirements
  7. Perform duties with minimal supervision
  8. Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field, or equivalent experience (2 years industry experience = 1 year college)
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, self-motivated, adaptable
  • Ability to learn new techniques, multitask, keep accurate records, follow instructions, adhere to policies
