Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an experienced laboratory technician to support sample prep, analysis, and QC across multiple analytical methods. The role emphasizes GMP/GLP compliance, data review, and routine maintenance of lab equipment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biology, is proficient with computers, and has English language proficiency. Pay starts at $18/hour with a 10% shift differential; full-time benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or related field is required.
• Proficiency with computers is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking) is required.

Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Prepare and analyze samples for various analytical methods.
• Analyze, prep samples and QC for routine testing.
• Review, work up, and assemble supporting data for work performed.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work.
• Read, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods.
• Prepare standard solutions and other reagents as needed.
• Use word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC.
• Dispose of chemical wastes using approved methods.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work overtime as workload requires.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Perform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methods
• Analyze/prep samples and QC for routine testing
• Review, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performed
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work
• Read, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC department
• Prepare standard solutions and other reagents as needed
• Use word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC
• Dispose of all chemical wastes using approved methods
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Work overtime as workload requires

Position is full-time, 2nd Shift, 2pm-10:30pm. Sun-Thurs. Training will be M-F, 1st Shift.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
• Proficiency with computers
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Ideal Candidates will have

• Previous experience with sample preparation
• Previous experience in a lab setting

Additional Information

Pay range: $18/hour + 10% shift differential
