Associate Chemist - Environment Testing - Monday - Friday - 2nd Shift

Eurofins Lancaster Labs is hiring an Associate Chemist for the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain instrumentation
• Tune and calibrate instruments daily
• Analyze quality control and client samples
• Review and assemble data efficiently with high quality
• Evaluate current organizational and analytical systems
• Implement corrective actions to meet client and regulatory standards
• Perform duties with minimal supervision
• Additional duties as assigned

This role is on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3 pm - 11:30 pm. Training will be on the M-F, 1st shift schedule.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience (two years of industry experience equals one year of college in a related major)
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team, self-motivated, adaptable, positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with policies

Professional proficiency in English is required.

Pay range: $18/hour + 10% shift differential
