OhioHealth is seeking a Chaplain to provide pastoral counseling and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff within the hospital. The role develops and maintains a hospital-wide parish and participates in ecumenical pastoral activities, staff meetings, and on-call duties.
The job requires a Master’s Degree with at least two years of ministry experience, including at least one year in a hospital setting. Schedule is variable with 24 hours per week.
Provides pastoral counseling and spiritual support to patients, family members/significant others and staff throughout the hospital. Usually this involves development of a \"parish\" within the hospital. Actively serves as a member of an ecumenical pastoral care staff sharing in activities such as staff meetings, on-call responsibilities, and providing hospital wide worship experiences.

Additional Job Description: Knowledge of pastoral care and counseling skills, especially as practiced within the hospital setting. Two years ministry Experience , at least one year of this in a hospital setting.
