Job summary

PAGNY is seeking an Associate Chairperson/Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY. You will work with medical leadership to develop educational programs and provide clinical direction. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in Internal Medicine education, with board certification and a valid NYS medical license.

The compensation includes an annual base salary of $309,000 with total package value estimated at $379,900, along with generous PTO, CME reimbursement, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in teaching and supervising residents in Internal Medicine.
• 5 years clinical practice plus experience as an associate program director or program director preferred.
• NYS Medical License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to direct reports to set patient care standards.
• Develop an educational curriculum as defined in the ACGME Program Requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME Resident Surveys.
