• Coordinate men’s events, Connect Groups, and lead excursion leaders for the Dickinson Campus.
• Own follow-up processes post Heart & Soul and onboard new Dream Team members.
• Oversee prayer teams by training, scheduling, and leading for weekend and special services.
• Own ideation and implementation of City Reach activities at the Dickinson Campus.

Position Summary

The Associate Campus Pastor will assist in providing leadership to carry out Evangel’s vision for the Evangel Dickinson Campus alongside the Campus Pastor. This individual will focus on pastoral ministry, discipleship, and connection while assisting in helping people take next steps in their faith journey. This role will provide pastoral care to attenders, facilitate ministry environments, and assist in creating intentional connection points for the Dickinson Campus.

This individual should possess Christ-like character. This individual should be guided by the Holy Spirit, should be a leader of leaders, relationally-driven, team-oriented, and highly self-motivated. This position calls for someone who can organize and motivate teams, has a heart for pastoral ministry and discipleship, and is able to communicate in a way that inspires others to join the vision.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Ownership

• Provide pastoral presence on Sundays, key weekends, and campus events, including Heart & Soul and MDWK. Serve as the primary service host alongside the Dickinson Campus Pastor, a secondary speaker throughout the year, and assist in facilitating environments such as Heart & Soul, MDWK, and Discover.
• Assist with pastoral counsel, care, and ministry to Dickinson Campus attenders and community (i.e., weddings, funerals, care meetings, pastor-on-call duties, child dedications, baptisms, hospital visits, etc.). Serve as the primary driver of utilizing Nurture to connect with at-risk Dream Team members and regular attenders.
• Assist Campus Pastor by coordinating men’s events, excursions, and Connect Groups for the Dickinson Campus. Main point of contact and support for men’s leaders, help implement men’s ministry strategy, and recruit and lead excursion leaders.
• Own the follow-up process post Heart & Soul by providing accountability, helping onboard new Dream Team members, and facilitating necessary follow-up conversations.
• Oversee prayer teams by raising up, training, scheduling, and leading Prayer Team members for weekend and special services.
• Own the ideation and implementation of City Reach at the Dickinson Campus, translating opportunities from Bismarck while identifying outreach opportunities unique to Dickinson.
