REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER

FLSA: NON-EXEMPT / HOURLY

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cashier/Associate will process customers of the retail store/station in a manner that enhances the business and maintains the facility while on duty to support customer satisfaction and sales growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure good customer relations by greeting customers and assisting them in a friendly and helpful manner. Respond to customer inquiries or concerns within established guidelines.
2. Operate cash register, promote sales, and ensure control and accountability of all company inventory and cash within company guidelines.
3. Clean, stock, and maintain internal property such as checkout area, coolers/freezers/equipment, fast food counter/equipment, shelves, displays, floors, windows, backroom, and restrooms.
4. Clean, stock, and maintain external property including sidewalks, drives, pump islands, displays, air machines, and ice machine. Regularly measure fuel tanks using a dipstick.
5. Participate in team efforts to achieve store or company goals.
6. Perform duties safely, following safety policies and practices.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
3. Must be at least 18 years old.
4. Provide exceptional customer service.
5. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
6. Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
