Job summary

Kid to Kid is hiring dependable, friendly people to help run a busy resale store in Utah. Team members cross-train across multiple areas, with real advancement opportunities and a great employee discount.

Responsibilities include cashiering, presorting incoming items, testing toys, pricing and tagging, stocking, and sharing promotions with customers in-store and online. Flexible schedules help balance busy family life and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Be friendly and helpful to customers in a busy resale environment.
• Cashiering duties and teaching customers how to sell to us.
• Presort incoming items from vendors for inventory.
• Test toys and assemble equipment as needed.
• Price items using our computer system to buy and price in items.
• Tag, sort and hang clothes, toys, and baby equipment for display.

• Sharing our current promotional events and sales with customers in the store and online.
• Maintaining good housekeeping–with all the great stuff coming in and the kids playing, there is always tidying up to be done.
• Social Media posts to engage with our customers.'

Kid to Kid is a buy-sell-trade store for babies and kids. We buy gently used clothes, shoes, toys and equipment from people in the community - paying cash on the spot or offering even more in store credit. We then sell those items in our store at huge discounts. At Kid to Kid, we focus on sustainable fashion, upcycling, and helping the environment. Our Buyers are responsible for inspecting incoming items to determine what to buy into inventory.

We’re hiring dependable, friendly people who want to stay busy during their working hours and who take pride in keeping the store organized and shoppable. Our team members cross-train across multiple areas of the store, and advancement opportunities are real — we love to grow our people from within.

• Looking for availability: Closing shift 2:00PM - 8:30PM 3+days per week.
• Saturday availability is required
• We're closed Sundays.

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
